- SCHEDULE A DEEP CLEANING. Even if the apartment or villa looks clean, there will be nooks and crannies that need a good, deep cleaning.
- PAINT WORKS. After cleaning and fixing things around the house, you might have to retouch paints in a few spots. Some people prefer doing this themselves.
- PEST CONTROL. It is hard to tell if there are any bugs or pests in a new home. So, it is a good idea to hire one of the professional pest control companies to take care of creepy crawlies before moving into a new house.
- CHECK ALL UTILITIES AND EQUIPMENT. We recommend you also run a test of all the electrical equipment in your new home as well as look for any potential plumbing issues
- NEW THINGS THAT YOU MAY NEED TO BUY. When moving houses, it is common to take along the big appliances and furniture. But you would end up throwing away some old items.
- AC DUCTS CLEANING. It’s best to schedule an HVAC duct cleaning prior to moving into the new home to allow the air duct cleaning professionals to get easy access to all the vents, cleaning all dirt and dusts lurking there.

HOW WORRIED SHOULD WE BE ABOUT MONKEYPOX?
Monkeypox is a viral infection that includes early symptoms like fever,
headache, muscle aches, swollen lymph nodes and chills, as well as other features such as exhaustion. According to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, it is thought that human-to-human transmission primarily occurs through large respiratory droplets. The virus is more of a concern among vulnerable people such as those with weakened immune systems or who are pregnant. Experts say the rise in numbers and
evidence of community spread are worrying, and that more cases are to be expected as contact tracing by public health teams continues. There are number of measures that can be taken to prevent infection with monkeypox virus like avoiding contact with animals that could harbor the virus (including animals that are sick or that have been found dead in areas where monkeypox occurs), avoid contact with any material, such as bedding, that has been in contact with a sick animal, isolating infected patients from others who could be at risk for infection and practicing good hand hygiene after contact with infected animals or humans.
